  • A sample ASP.NET application communicating to SQL Server database (Northwind)
  • Opening SQL Server Profiler
  • Selecting various events to trace (this depends on necessity)
  • Tracing all incoming SQL statements (to SQL Server database) using SQL Server Profiler
  • Monitoring the trace
  • Clearing, Stopping and Starting SQL Server trace.
